CLIMATE CHANGE & WATER

•   Lights are used efficiently, only while rooms are in use.

•   Blast Chillers are utilized to cool food.

•   Heating and cooling needs are optimized by scheduling

•   Through our Conserve program, we change linens every third day unless requested otherwise, guests may reuse towels

•   Suggest lower-impact centerpieces and décor, such as potted plants rather than flowers

•   Guestroom restrooms use low flow showerheads, faucets, and toilets.

•   Guestroom thermostats conserve energy while room is vacant.

•   High efficiency products are used throughout the hotel, LED lighting, Energy Star rated TV’s and appliances, high efficiency water heaters & motors, and VFD motor controls.

WASTE & CIRCULARITY

• Only compostable agave straws are used (no plastic).

• Water served using carafes is the default offering for meetings and events.

• Hydration stations are available in the lobby.

• Mobile Entry is available to reduce the number of plastic keys.

• Digital signage and Hyatt Apps help enable paperless meetings.

• Food waste is collected for composting.

• More that 40% of waste is diverted from the landfill by recycling and composting.

• Hazardous waste (batteries, light bulbs, and electronics) is collected and disposed of properly.

• Recycled products are used throughout the property.

• Cage-free eggs are utilized in our restaurants

• Seafood is sustainably purchased from responsible sources

• Located in America’s Farm to Fork Capital, produce is organic and purchased locally.
